Supreme Court Recommends Three Judges for Karnataka High Court
The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the appointment of three judicial officers as judges of the Karnataka High Court. These recommendations were made following a meeting of the Collegium held on April 14.
The judicial officers recommended for promotion are Rajeshwari Narayan Hegde, K Ganesh Shanti, and Mahadevappa Bhringesh. These appointments aim to address the existing vacancies in the high court. The Karnataka High Court currently has 45 judges, against a sanctioned strength of 62 judge posts.
