Karnataka Invites Applications for 258 Agriculture Officer Positions
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has commenced the direct recruitment process for Agriculture Officer posts, issuing an invitation for eligible candidates to apply for 258 positions within the Kalyana Karnataka cadre. These Group-B cadre roles, including Agriculture Officer and Assistant Agriculture Officer, will be filled through competitive examinations.
Prospective candidates with B.Sc Agriculture, B.Sc Hons (Agriculture), or B.Tech degrees are eligible to apply. The maximum age limit is set at 40 years for General Category candidates, 43 years for Backward Classes, and 45 years for Scheduled Castes and Tribes. The application deadline for online submissions is May 10, with the final date for fee payment being May 12.
The application fee is Rs. 750 for General and Backward Classes, Rs. 500 for Scheduled Castes/Tribes and other special categories, and Rs. 250 for disabled candidates. According to a release from the Karnataka Examinations Authority, the Kannada language exam is scheduled for June 6. Subsequently, Paper-1 and Paper-2 examinations will be conducted on June 14.
